IQounting Subprocessors

Effective date: 3 September 2026

IQounting engages selected third-party service providers to help operate, maintain, secure and deliver the Service.

Where such providers process Customer Personal Data on behalf of IQounting, they act as Subprocessors within the meaning of applicable Data Protection Law.

Categories of Subprocessors

Depending on the functionality used, IQounting may engage Subprocessors in categories such as:

  • cloud hosting and infrastructure;
  • database services;
  • file and object storage;
  • authentication and identity services;
  • transactional email delivery;
  • AI and OCR processing;
  • application monitoring and error reporting;
  • security and infrastructure protection;
  • backup and recovery infrastructure;
  • customer support infrastructure;
  • accounting and business integrations; and
  • other technical infrastructure required to provide the Service.

Only providers that actually process Customer Personal Data on behalf of IQounting are treated as Subprocessors.

Processing Locations

IQounting seeks to use processing within the European Economic Area where reasonably possible.

Where a Subprocessor processes Personal Data outside the EEA, IQounting uses an appropriate transfer mechanism where required under applicable Data Protection Law, which may include:

  • a European Commission adequacy decision;
  • Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • another lawful mechanism under Chapter V GDPR; and
  • supplementary safeguards where appropriate.

Information About Individual Subprocessors

Customers may request information regarding the Subprocessors relevant to their use of the IQounting Service by contacting:

IQounting may provide information including, where appropriate:

  • provider identity;
  • purpose of processing;
  • relevant processing location; and
  • applicable international transfer mechanism.

Changes to Subprocessors

IQounting may add or replace Subprocessors as the Service develops.

Where applicable Data Protection Law or the IQounting Data Processing Agreement requires notice of a relevant new or replacement Subprocessor, IQounting will provide such notice through an appropriate communication channel.

Customers may raise reasonable data-protection objections in accordance with the IQounting Data Processing Agreement.
